clean slate, fuck all that bullshit that was in last one.

-1989 240sx
-Red hatchback, near mint without rust.
-Bought the car: Sunday March 22^nd, 2009
-Traded my 1996 TSI AWD straight up for the car. It was purchased
with a non-running motor, got it running in 2 days. Stock ka24.
-Progress gets made as money comes and as for I am at
college right now progress is slowed since no where to do work plus university
drained account for tuition. The biggest chunk of change for it comes when I sell
my 2002 Focus. It will be ready for sale
by May 11^th, 2009. Parts purchased and going on it.
-So far nothing special has been done. Removed power
steering and A/C. Installed 3” catback exhaust.

Yeah that's why i wanted to go somewhere that i know someone has gone through them before with no problems. And i get it shipped to a business address so it'll be cheaper.

3" yes, and getting the 3" downpipe when i get the RB, no cat/high flow

lol no the fuckus isnt sold, but my credit card allows me to buy the motor so hopefully the fuckus will be sold shortly after..

havent gotten around to fixen it actually yet lol, because im never by my moms long enough.. exactly same reason why the 240 is at a halt, not at my moms yet.. lol. So you'll see if on craigslist prolly same time i click buy now for the motor lol

RB26DETT motor is ordered today at 12:27pm and soon in route to my house with all the accessories with it.

Focus... oh man I never want to work on a ford focus EVER again...

So this is the hitting of a curb because a dumbass is coming at me going the wrong way in a one way, and i picked curb over head on collision. He also did not stop so assuming he was drunk at 2:30am on east side milwaukee. No tickets were given but car was obviously towed.

Broke and bent the lower control arm, snapped the axle clear off, bent rim, tire got a little fucked up enough that it's unusable, the fender obviously fucked.



Unfortunately there is no good way to tow a focus i.e. tow hooks. And the 240 could not do the job so now i need a new front bumper as well but Certafit is cheap enough lol.. So used my dad's skid loader lol to pull it into the shop.


So EVERY bolt was a fucking pain, usually suspension is like a hour job MAX but nooo this took 4 hours, 3hour and 40mins to get it all off, 20mins to get it all back on and that's using impacts breaker bars.. had to use a 20lbs sledge hammer to knock wheel off since it was stuck onto hub.. then they have stupid fucking alan wrench shit.. and then one god damn torx wrench bolt, since i dont own a torx set i went into my dad's tools and the size we needed of course was broke and everything is closed besides walmart so we go there to get a set, and then get back and the fucker strips.. so I arc welded a nut to the torx bolt to remove it.. whole thing was a fucking hassel.

did you get the rb25 trans.i looked into doing a rb26 and theres a lot of custom shit involved.i hope you finish this.

That's why I need Evan's number, he's got trans for me to buy for it.

There's a good portion of custom shit, but it should be running good by late July. Least the goal is to get it done obviously ASAP but the latest my birthday.

i got evans number for ya if we decide to go that route. I wanna try to modify the AWD trans first. save ya some money there. But yeah im with ya on that one with never wantin to work on a focus again! we were at that forever yesterday. Im lookin forward to gettin the phone call from you saying "the motors here!" so i can fly up there and check that shit out

O and i dont agree with the statement bout WI vs IL havin to do with cars... Im 99.9% sure there isnt a Rb30 runnin in IL.. And hmm, let me think bout the cars on this site from wisconsin... Mine (rb30) Lizmo (2jz) 240sxguy (500hp Rb25) 600sx (Ls2)... Hmm comparing that to your guys Sr swapped cars, i think your statement is false.. Sorry im takin personal offense to you saying IL ppl already swapped their motors while we order them. this might actually be true, but i could have done 4 Sr swaps for the cost of my Rb30.. Just food for thought

i'd still rather have my SR than any of that hillbilly 2jz or LS hacked up bullshit. how many of those so called "cool" WI cars do I see at the track? none. no drive, no care. last time I checked it took more than horsepower to make a cool car...
