The Danger Panther
The timing map has really retarded timing so theres still more power to be made. This video is currently at 13 psi on a completely stock ka24e, nothing internal has been replaced. A new video will be posted again once i turn up the boost I should be going to the tracks soon....ill post up some times.

I am going to the tracks as soon as my buddy gets his dsm done. Btw, i got these today for $60....27/8-15's
not bad but i read they get scary at high speeds since the sidewall is so soft....maybe ill run them at 20+psi so the sidewall is a little stiffer, might not get all the grip possible but it should be better than street tires.

Re: The Danger Panther
Badass,
just a FYI - your not legally gonna be able to run those hoosiers on the streets they don't appear to be DOT approved, i would get them mounted on a cheap set of rims and throw them in the hatch and swap them at the track.
full slicks blow on the streets, they roll over doing any even remotely hard cornering plus IF you get caught in the rain you better be ready to sit on the side of the road.

Re: The Danger Panther
Haha yeah...i have no intentions of ever running these on the streets or even street legal radials...I dont race anyone on the streets so all season tires are fine for me. These are just going to be used for fun at the dragstrip. I wonder how these will do with 2* of camber....

Yea thats the nearest track to me but they dont have many open race days...so i just tag along with people who go down to great lakes.
But yea, I got the slicks mounted on some maxima 6.5" wheels and they look huge, like unsafe sidewall bulge huge...Hoosier says that these slicks should be mounted on 7"-8" wheels so 6.5" isnt that much of a difference but damn, its like a doughnut tire. Im gonna try to put these on at my current ride height tomorrow, if i cant fit them, they'll be up for sale soon. If they do fit, im gonna be tucking tire like a mofo.

Ok. I wanna talk some more about your motor setup.
You have a thread or some shit somewhere?
Why is your manifold upside down? Just curious?
What wastegate and shit are you running? Who did your piping?
What cold hot/pipes did you use.
Hollerrr. You leak shit in bits and pieces.
Tell me all about that shit.

Sorry, I didnt take pictures during the build so i dont have a thread. Well my manifold is a sidemount log and it didnt come with a wastegate flange so i had to weld one to it. I couldve put the wastegate on the bottom but there wasnt much room to really work with so i put it on top...i think thats why it looks upside down. I am running an ebay china wastegate. I made the intercooler piping and the whole exhaust since the one i had on the car before hung really low and scraped everywhere.
Honestly I never expected this thing to last this long when i finished a year ago, I started at 4 psi and was more than happy with the results, turned up to 9 psi and maxed out my maf and 460cc injectors, upgrade to 750cc's and a z32 and turned up the boost to 13 psi. That was a blast but felt slow after a while so yesterday, i cranked the boost up, took it for a drive, and saw the boost reach 15-16 psi then drop to 10 psi so i think i have a boost leak somewhere.
Ill post up another vid of the 15-16 psi...i am pretty confident that at that boost level, i am at high 200hp maybe even low 300hp...not bad for a single cam truck motor.
Heres a recent shot of the car btw, nothing special....oh dont mind the rear ride height, i plan on lowering it somemore soon.
