differential question

Post by 1990240Hatch on Sun Sep 13, 2009 12:09 am

How do I know what kind of diff i have in my car. I'm only wondering because when I do a burnout both wheels spin and in my 1990 when i did a burnout only one spun. I know it isnt welded because it doesnt pop or chirp when I turn.

jack up the rear end of the car and spin one wheel

if the other wheel spins the same way you have an lsd, if it spins the opposite way then its open..
