I was thinking of gutting and stripping my interior and getting a cage? my question is what do people use to get that nasty ass tar and bs off? Ive used dry ice befor on my buddies car and it worked ok, i was wondering if there was a easier way of removing that stuff cuz it was a bitch and time consuming?

dry ice worked fine for me, or just wait for a super cold winter morning and go out there with a hammer.

yea i did it last spring so it was still a little chilly, bought a 5lb brick of dry ice for $5 at the gas station and crushed it up and spread it, after a minute or so you could hear it cracking up and separating. after about 5 minutes i went in with a hammer and it all just shattered off. for the parts that were still stuck i just respread the ice in areas that needed it and gave it more time.

if i were going to do it again i would have bought more ice, like 10lbs or so since i almost didnt have enough for the back seat/trans tunnel area. i was just being cheap at the time.
