From Indy...
Just found this site from a link about some turbos haha. Figured Id register... Plus I wanna trade the guy with the S14 lol
Soooooo onto the car business.
I had a 1G AWD Talon I had tried building, but was convinced to sell it and build what I really want; A Turbo V8 car.
Stock... Day I bought it... $1500 Perfectly running car.
Stock KA24DE from an S14
Didnt take the wheels that came with the car, and had these 18s from a car I bought to "flip".
Getting her all loaded up on the trailer to take to our shop, the distributor quit so I said fuck it and figured Id start the V8 swap. Drove her for about 3 weeks.
Thought it would be funny posting up on a local forum asking how in the hell to get a V8 in there... with a pic of me putting it backwards haha
Now, the correct way...
The turbo in this pic is from a stock 1G Turbo car thats getting the timing belt replaced.
4L80E thats going into the car.
Some goofing around with some spare hoods in the shop haha
The turbo that'll be going on the car, after some driving to make sure the motor I bought is capable...
Thats all I got guys haha...
Bought the car at the end of February. Hoping to start it at the end of next week. Apparently will be the first 4L80E 240sx. At least from what Ive gathered.

Re: From Indy...
Thinking about getting rid of the turbo and just making it like a 200-250 shot car. It would work a lot better than with the rear gears. Even though I know switching out the gears wouldnt be much haha

Re: From Indy...
Welcome man, good luck with the car.
hope it runs well. Have you put the 4L80e in the car yet? i'm curious as to how/if it will fit in the transmission tunnel.

yeah, that whole first post was copy and pasted from another forum i intro'd on about a week or 2 ago.
Trans is up under that car.
Im waiting for little stupid shit like tps/iac/fbody crank pulley.
then gotta buy plugs/wires/oil/coolant all the final small things.
The trans actually didnt fit THAT bad. I beat the shit out of the tunnel.
And only had to cut in 2 spots. Not that big of holes... I actually ended up cutting like 5 spots, but thats because Im a dumbass lmao.

Re: From Indy...
Cars that trap 140+ mph in the 1/4...
Street cars.
Not really into drifting, which apparently is what everyone who owns these are after. lol
