loud exhaust ticket?!?! huh?

so i just dont get how you can get a ticket in a car that has no emissions for a "loud exhaust"?

how can we get tickets if there are guys in there faggot camaros and mustangs and corvettes that have a waaaaay louder exhaust and get away with it while rolling past a cop? is that even legal then to give us a ticket? hmm.... i have yet to hear of anyone in a car like that get a ticket. and there are plenty of people around where i live with a louder car than what i have by me. im probably just ranting on because i wanna punch the noob cop in the face for giving me 3 bullshit tickets.

They get away with it because there muscle cars. It's easy to be loud too with isis pipes. You literally need to shift before 3k otherwise cops get called haha.

bikes are a different story. they need to be loud so people can actually notice them and comprehend that they are there. if you ride a motorcycle, you will know what i mean.

i was below 2k. the cop was being a dick. gave me a ticket for a non insured car when the vin number on my insurance card matched up with the door and engine bay vin, gave me a ticket for a non registered car to my plates when it is and i gave him the reciept for it and the loud exhaust. i started swaring at him when he said hes giving me those 3 tickets and that i should be lucky for not getting one for speeding. i said "mother fucker let me see your fucking radar gun and the date it was last calibrated because i bet your fucking job you werent clocking me while you were behind me." he said well at least i didnt write the ticket and im not going to after pulling me over for 45 mother fucking minutes because his dumb ass doesnt konw what the fuck a fucking car is. had me pop the fucking hood in the front of another cop and the other cop was a car guy and said to be honest this guys a prick and i said i can tell, and we started talking about the motor on the side of the street in rush hour in downtown lombard lol. fucking rookie pigs need to get there asses beat.

sounds like you have an easy case to win in court, show them your insurance, registration ect. The exhaust ticket probably won't go away but the other two should. That xcop mut have been one of those kids who got picked on all the time at school and now someone gave him a novelty badge and his giant ego and dickbag power trip has to take it out on the world. ive got this guy who goes in every time and literally knows everyone in the court room. friday i had court for going thru a stopsign sideways, and the cop was there. called me up to the stand with the lawyer, and tossed the ticket out in a second.

paid $150 for the lawyer, and AAA is even refunding it in two weeks.

this year ka with header isis test pipe and blast pipes it was loud as fuck and no tickets suckerrrr ha. last year i did get a ticket for loud exhaust though.

i got pulled over for "illegally modified exhaust" not because it was loud, because it is pretty quiet. im like are you fucking serious? its a 50 state legal system not just a muffler. he said it doesnt matter anything that isnt stock is illegal. basicly he was just being a cunt and wanted to pull me over. when it comes down to it they can do whatever they want. just deal with it. i didnt get a ticket probably because he knew it was a bullshit reason to pull me over. the "50 state legal" tag that companies place on exhausts only applies to noise level regulations. most states also have regulations against modifying your exhaust from stock form, regardless of noise level. Its a completely different law.

a quiet aftermarket exhuast will help you fly under the radar, but that doesnt mean its legal.

pretty much the stupidest law ever. if it makes noise laws who gives a fuck about anything else?

only SOME states have the modification law passed. illinois wisconsin indiania michigan iowa and most of the midwest states i believe do not have that passed and do not want to pass it

i had a 86 chevy c20 with 3.5 in side pipes with 40seires flowmasters. i got pulled over for speeding. the cop had me turn my truck off so he could here me. and after giving me the ticket. told me the exaust sounded sweet! i was sueprised. at a light 2 difforent times after the ticket. i had cops pull up and say the same. so i would say there is a bius.
