ok so im doing an rb20 swap into my 91 sx. Got the motor in with a few parts left to go. But the 1 thing on my mind is... WILL THE RB RUN GOOD WITH THE STOCK 240 FUEL PUMP OR DO I NEED TO GET A NEW ONE? Any help is great!!! questions questions questions!!! 200664

no..it wont.. get an aftermarket fuel pump or you'll have a blown motor real quick.

Stock boost, it will be fine.

However, you won't run stock boost cause nobody does. I agree with Simon. False economy not replacing it.

Also, put a nismo FPR in there too. Its common for RB's to run rich on stock regulators with high flow pumps.

definitely change it out, not only for starvation purposes but also that pump is 18 yrs old and you just don't want to chance it

ok so ive been told that the stock fuel pump wont work with my rb swap. can anyone suggest a good one for some one on an extremly tight budget?

Walbro 255 is what i run. 100bucks shipped. I dont think ive ever ran a stock pump on a 240 before. First thing i always changed was the old worn out pump
