LongGrain Xtreme Kustomz! Empty LongGrain Xtreme Kustomz!

Post by LongGrain Mon Apr 12, 2010 1:03 pm

Hi.

A few friends and I just recently rented a shop that we will be using to store, build and paint our cars. And to help cover rent and new tools/equipment we'll be offering our services to you guys.

We are "specializing" in paint and bodywork because Josh the Painter is wicked sick at that kind of thing. But we also do engine swaps, welding, chassis fab, wiring, suspension work, etc, etc, etc.

We also offer a trailer service for those who either cant get their car here, or dont want to drive this far. Our friend Jake, who has several years of professional towing experience is taking care of this for us. He's driven everything from pickups, dump trucks, tow trucks, to fully loaded semis. Low cars are not a problem. We can pick your car up, and bring it back for you at a low, per-mile rate.

The way we have the shop set up, we currently have room for 4 cars with plenty of space to work on them, more if we pack them tightly. We also have an upper level loft that we use for storage, but we also have couches etc up there to hang out and it will soon be equipped with a TV (or giant projector screen) and video games and shit.

We are located on the south side of Fon Du Lac, WI about an hour and a half north of the IL border. Only a few miles off Highways 41 and 151

Prices for now will be on a case by case basis for now, eventually we will have a sheet made up. We are not making a business out of this right now, nor are we trying to retire at 25. Were just trying to recoup some of our costs, so prices will be LOW LOW

quick snap I took of the place while we were moving in. Behind the back wall is another good sized garage space that is ours, We'll be opening up that wall to allow easier access to that area.

Damn, I wish I was 5 lug.... such a good deal....

Seriously though he is NOT too far. If I keep this S14 instead of getting another one I will go to him. It's a 2 hour drive, man up and take the drive...

Anyway.. I have been bugging LongGrain about paint for a while, and he has always been really good with getting back to me with estimates and what not. I have only seen his S13 in pics, with the midnight purple (i think) that he had on it looked AWESOME.

If your thinking about paint DEFINITELY hit up LongGrain.

thanks duder.

Honestly, I'm not here to talk shit on anyone else. But these jobs are 20x better than anything I've seen come out of garage shiny for HALF the price..

and in case you didnt read, we can trailer your car here and back if its not drivable or whatever.

If I can drive 3 hours to get an air freshener and a pair of stickers from TF, you guys can drive 2 hours to come get a QUALITY paint job.

One of the reasons we picked this place is because its almost 40 minutes closer to IL than where we live and where our old place was haha.

For quotes on paint work, please email josh (contact info in first post).

I dont have a ton of pics of josh's work since he doesnt really hang out on the internet ever. only that one photo of my car, and a few more that were taken with my cell phone. He's been painting professionally for years now and has also been doing custom jobs for show cars since he was like 17. I'm talking FULL show car builds, full fiberglassed interiors, kandy paint, tribal designs, air brushing, 2 tones, 3 tones, EVERYTHING. The sky is the limit with this dude.

Oh, and before anyone gets all JDM on me. The title is not a real shop name, we do not have a name, nor intend on ever having one. That was just a joke.

I dont think we are properly equipped to do that at this point in time.

call up Vinny at Destruction warehouse in Kenosha. I know he can do it, and his work is TOP fucking notch.

PM me if you need his contact info.

sorry for the inconvenience, I hope you still consider us when you are ready to get that bodywork taken care of.
