Time to move forward with more boost! The car in question is a 92 Sentra SE-R with a first gen avenir SR. All stock motor running 7lbs. Front mount and 80mm turbo back exhaust. I know I can run near 1 bar safely, but I don't know it the fuel pump was replaced. How can I tell?

Plus I absolutely love the gargle I get around 2k rpm. How can I amplify it?

Well, most people that do fuel pumps in 240sx/sentra's/etc. usually go with the Walbro 255's. a tell tail sign with larger fuel pump's is they are louder then stock. so if there is a good whine to it i would bet it's got a walbro in it. but it doesn't take but 15-20 min to pull the pump.

I wanna say I don't have one then. But I now have another problem. I'm smelling oil and I assume blow by. How do I know if it is or just bad engine seals?

Ah, yes I should really get one of those anyways. There are two sizes right? Anyone know which size I need and what are good specs for the SR?

Generally they'll come with the fittings for either size. Another thing you could check is oil on the spark plugs. If oils blowing past the rings the plugs will be wet with oil as well. depending how bad it is.

it has a walboro/aftermarket pump. Wires will be spliced in for the pump. To find that out you will have to remove the sendinr unit and Check it out. If it's a walborow there will be a stamping on the pump it's self with the walbro logo.

Oil on the plugs would mean bad valve cover gasket, no?

Thanks Pancho

If it were on the insulator/tip part where the wire clips onto yeah, but if it's on the electrode i think it is that actually creates the spark then it'd be rings.
