WTB: cheap LSD for s13
Just looking for a cheap lsd that will bolt right into my 240. This open diff is kind of annoying.
the cheaper the better. I also have a pioneer avic d3 to trade if it's a nice one plus cash if applicable.

I know you said cheap, but since no one has replied I thought I might offer my JDM VLSD with 5 bolt axles. I'm looking for $275

Re: WTB: cheap LSD for s13
What's all needed to put that into an s13 besides what you have?
I'm considering buying a welded one but i don't want to deal with the creeking and all of that crap when turning just driving around.

make sure it will work for your car. ABS and NON ABS drive shafts are different length IIRC.

Re: WTB: cheap LSD for s13
So you've never had an LSD? I've never had a welded, but I know that a VLSD is flawless in it's operation. You don't know it's there til you mash the gas and hook up, or dump the clutch and slide.
If you want to half ass it and be annoyed, than weld it. If you want it done right, than swap it. You can also do a swap yourself with near no skill involved.

Re: WTB: cheap LSD for s13
YO. get a welded way more cheaper and easier to put in.
so what if it drags one wheel when you turn.
unless your some faggot kid thats all emo about the mods you put in your car even though you dont like spending money on part.
plus fuck all that switching axels and stuff for a VLSD.

Re: WTB: cheap LSD for s13
Any diff is easy to put in. Just know that you need to get either the right diff or the right drive shaft, whatever you end up getting and having on the car.
As far as the dif itself, I am pretty sure that the VSLD will not always lock, while the welded, will always be locked

I've got the 5 bolt axles too. Everything you need to swap it in. Plus it's from an S chassis, so no need to swap covers.

I'll more than likely get that off your hands. Let me just see if anything else comes up.
