Whats in your ideal Drift Store
So here it is: We are lucky enough to be able to plan out on next store before moving into it and want to know what everyone would want in a drift store? Do you want a Dyno? Do you want a AEM cert tech? do you want an area where the user can work on their own car? Let us know so we can be your store!
Re: Whats in your ideal Drift Store
dyno, aero, wheels/tires section, dildo shows, shemale dancers with drift knobs on their nipples, umm really anything YOU want....

Thanks for the advice. I'll remember that next time I open a store in 1998, grow to be the largest dist on the east coast of Aus then move to the US and be in biz nice 2003.
The concept of this was to see what ppl in the area wanted in a store for them... cater to the local needs. Only one way to do that is to find out what people and the best way to do that is.... well ASK!
As for the 'tounge' (oh shit did I make a spelling mistake... my bad!) factory question. Yes I have heard of them. Been there. Seen the place. I was confirming that is what 'TF' meant in the post by LongGrain.
People need to chill some times!!!

Re: Whats in your ideal Drift Store
if you open a shop in GreenBay, you're just a drive from USAir, so you better have lots of replacement suspension parts, extra wheels, tires, etc handy.
I <3 USAir.

Re: Whats in your ideal Drift Store
Yeah the dyno's are not that cheap at all. The one we have been requested and approved for is a DynaPack Dyno..... AWD dyno and they say it is the most accurate.... well see... never used one of them before so we will see.... but the best thing is that it's portabel so we can take it to places like USAIR for drift days.
The tire mounting and balancing is a must. I hear you on that.
Working on the car has been 'temp approved' by the ins company but everyone must sign a waiver. not sure if we are going to go that route as with how Sue happy ppl are in the USA but we might... it is an option.
Planning on having a ton of areo parts in stock. tons of Rims in stock. New and used parts in stock. We want to have a large on hand stock of items so ppl don't have to wait. We plan on having the full staff trained and certified in AEM and Apexi EMS's. We will have the usually things but we want to stand apart from the usually take your money and get out the door stores.

Why would you want a Dyno at a drift day? Go drive your car on the track, it should be tuned before handDRFTBLD wrote:Yeah the dyno's are not that cheap at all. Sounds like you're still in the land of dreams and make believe. Good luck on your shop.Planning on having a ton of areo parts in stock. tons of Rims in stock. New and used parts in stock. Random question: Have you ever worked in a shop, a performance shop?
Get some real world thinking and you will soon realize that it is hard to get all this shit quick without going under soon after you open, causing you years of debt.
