i say do one mid sept/oct near end of summer/fall before everyone stores their cars for winter. bw3s is a good place and cruise later but not downtown cuz everyone was getting stuck at lights or getting lost. my only request is dont do it the weekend of oct 3rd. other than that is fine with me, seeing as my car should be getting tuned within the next couple weeks.

I have a small proposition for a 240SX meet. In October 2007 I hosted a "Midwest Streets" BBQ for multiple forums / car makes.

We had an actual permit in the forest preserve which allowed us to have food / alcohol / djs and cars all setup in a private area in the Busse Woods Forest Preserve right by Golf and 290 near Woodfield Mall.

We had over 200 people and around 100 cars in / out during the event and even hosted a mini car show with some trophies.

Me and a few people payed for the whole event and it was free food and free drinks all day. We had over 100 hamburgers / hot dogs - sodas - chips etc.

Great turn out and awesome good time.

So im thinking something like that combining multiple groups to make a nice large meet. So its not just another parking lot affair where we get hassled by mall security / renta cops etc.
