Fuck the vert... It's Bimmer time...
Just swapped in some kick ass autozone winter wiper blades!
Notice the blue tips?!?! That's so fucking EDM YO!
That's all for now, but you can be sure to expect some Racer X seat covers and blue LED wiper nozzles once I get my next check son!
Lol, anyways. Got me a SS clutch line on the way (From the factory BMW put a silly ass valve in there that slips the clutch): SSCL-1
Short shifter: USCE
with DSSR: DSSR198
Height adjustable leather wrapped shift knob with BMW motorsports insert: RK6A-L
Their site doesn't let you post direct links to their products, so If you are interested in seeing exactly what I'm talking about, go here:
http://uucmotorwerks.com/
And copy paste the part numbers that I've placed after my parts into their search engine.
Smooth precise shifting on it's way!

Re: Fuck the vert... It's Bimmer time...
They back ordered my shift knob, It'll be here soon enough. In the meantime I purchased some rims:

18x8.5 40mm all around. I wanted staggered, but I got a smokin deal
I just gotta decide on tire size and brand. I've got some time til the snow melts.

Re: Fuck the vert... It's Bimmer time...
I'm damn near gonna rub with this setup. I'm thinking about a 235, but I might rub with a 225. I might just wing it and see what happens with a 235.

Re: Fuck the vert... It's Bimmer time...
205/40/18. Not that big of a stretch, but it all depends on the tire you run. Some run wide, some run normal.
If you go with Federals you should probably go on side smaller then you would. So say you want a 215 in normal tire, a 205 would be about that in Federals. (at least what I have been told by some people)

Re: Fuck the vert... It's Bimmer time...
I'm not doing this just for looks, I would like to hook up a bit better. I won't be going any smaller than 225.

Got em'
Here they are next to my 235s on a 9.5. I think a 235 is a good fit.

These are 8.5. Next to my 235s on a 9.5inch rim. I guess I didn't need to say that, you can hardly tell the tires are even mounted.
Got the shifter materials in! mmmsmoothandtight

Re: Fuck the vert... It's Bimmer time...
How did I know that would be the first reply, lol. Once you step up to a better car; most anything besides an S chassis, you value the ride quality. It doesn't look lifted and rides sporty and smooth. I don't think I'm gonna mess with the ride height just to ruin the ride quality for a slight change in looks.
If the Midwest roads were anything less than beat to shit roads, I might consider a drop...

Re: Fuck the vert... It's Bimmer time...
looks pretty good.
justa thought, Do factory M3 springs/shocks work? might be a cheap upgrade that will make it sit lower and still ride good.
i like it. needs tint tho.
