Re: Fuck the vert... It's Bimmer time...
It's got the sport suspension, which is just a hair lower; and equivalent to the M3.
I have thought about tint though, I remember how that leather gets hot in the sun! Probably just a 35%
I'm really going for subtly. I don't want it to be loud so I'm staying away from intake and exhaust, but what I have done for just a slight increase in sound is de baffle the air box and cap off the vacuum actuated butterfly valve in the tail pipe. Nothing crazy and surely nothing more than freeing up a hp, just enough to hear the engine.
I've already got a larger intake manifold from a 325; which has 40-50% larger runners and will net me with nearly a 20hp increase over stock with a VERY small decrease in low end torque with a tune of course.
I'm still trying to decide on gear ratios for the LSD. Factory is 2.93 and my options consist of 3.15, 3.23, and a ridiculous 3.93. I don't think I want to go with the latter.

I'm considering it. I've found some softly sprung coils for a decent price.
3.15 LSD should be here tomorrow!

I'm about half as low as I can go on the rear and near half on the front. will probably go lower, driveway permitting.

Re: Fuck the vert... It's Bimmer time...
The mesh 18s were a bit of an impulse buy, I don't like em' so much. 17s are a better choice for me. They are FS BTW, I'm asking 1100 (less than 500 miles, not a scratch)
The tri stars are different and that's why I like em' the other two are under the knife and being painted satin black.
And Vlad, I'm getting out of the 240 game, but I still like the forum. Got a problem with that!?! lol
