automatic ka24de manual ka24e
can i use everything including the clutch pedal assembly from a 89 on my 95?
Re: automatic ka24de manual ka24e
I use a s13 clutch pedal assembly on my 98 s14 and it worked out fine so i don't see why not. I also got the brake pedal but its different so i just used the pad portion and welded it on the auto pedal.

Re: automatic ka24de manual ka24e
who needs sensors? lol but for real what harness? is there a tranny harness? do i have to splice it into the s14 one or what ive never done a 5 spd swap let alone single cam tranny swap on a s14.. any help is much appriciated
Re: automatic ka24de manual ka24e
speed sensor and reverse lights if you want those to work. yes the trans has its own little harness so maybe just get one from an s14. unless they are the same from a 91^ idk though

Re: automatic ka24de manual ka24e
? how do i do that? anyone from the wisconsin area down to do a 5spd swap for some beer and maybe some rocks?
Re: automatic ka24de manual ka24e
The worst is that u need a s14 manual speed sensor without that it will read double or triple you're speed it costs alot i spend like 150 because u have to buy the gear and retainer pin also.
Next is the crank position sensor on top of the trenny (its not needed but you're check engine will be on all the time) so u have to drill a hole in the top in a specific place with a specific size drill
than put a 1/8 washer so the sensor sits on it so the flywheel don't hit it ( learned it the hard way lol)
U want reverse lights than that's easy u just have to find the right wires (use manual to see what colors
And the last two are neutral position switch and 5th position switch (these are not necessary but car will burn less gas if u connect them.
any questions ask away.

Re: automatic ka24de manual ka24e
whats up with spacing the clutch pedal? do i have to do that if so how
Re: automatic ka24de manual ka24e
You might need to adjust the clutch how you do it
well when you put in the clutch master from the inside u have thread on the rod
it depends how new you're clutch is and how old is you're master or slave and if you have the balance tube or not so u have to feel it out
also its preference where you want the clutch to grab
Its not a big deal usually u get it right the first time

Re: automatic ka24de manual ka24e
sooo theres some kinda computer and no hole for my clutch pedal. wtf?! i thought i coulda just bolted up the clutch pedal and call it a day but nooo i have to cut shit and relocate shit. and one have any advice on how to do this?
Re: automatic ka24de manual ka24e
For the pedal, break all dumb ass bullshit plastic or whatver the fuck it is. Behind all that bs you'll see the template where your suppose to drill the holes. It's only 2 small holes and one big one to bolt up the master cylinder. That little box, just bend it up and bolt it up. Donsauce. Pretty easy.

Is your buddy still parting that hatch?
I need just about everything interior wise.
Contrary to popular beliefs, gutted cars are GAY, unless you take the time to do it right...
