(ka24e) cant get a click to start

ok, i searched threw the fourms for sometime similar but that took to long so imma post...

i swapped in anothin e into my other hatch,
everything worked find when my other ka was running,
so im getting power to everything, im getting fuel running, all my lights work and all that ish,
when i go to turn my key i am getting no click at all...

now i got all my wires hooked up (checked like 10 times, im hopefully pretty sure they are good)
i tried jumping the starter, got a small click, but not enough to turn over anything,
i took the starter to autozone, my starter passed...

so once again im pretty positive the wiring is ok...
i talked to nick (flicktitty) and he ran me threw all this....

if anyone has any info on this it would help..

maybe the motor is seized? check you battery or trying turning the motor over by hand

Yes yes. Check your grounds as well as your battery ground. If not check your battery. Try push starting it or something.

is it five speed check our clutch safety switch, or jump the starter if that doesn't work then you messed up the wires somewhere

if i push start it and it dont work, there is no way as hell ill be geting my car back up that hill haha, i dont even know where the clutch safety switch is lol...
and i tried jumping the starter and i was getting a click but nothing to the sound of a turn over....

maybe ignition? idk
im gonna be working on it tomorrow bc i finally got a day off....
so hopefully ill get more answer by tomorrow morning..

What was it?

and the clutch safety switch is behind the clutch pedal it must be pushed in to start the car ,,,

it was, my ground off my starter
the wire was fucked inside the harness
just had to replace it
