i never said it was about horsepower at all ryan. I know i talk down on SR's a lot just because i am not a fan. I know quite a bit of Sick ass SR's around. Im just replyin to the post stating WI ppl dream and IL ppl do. Just stating that my motor swap cost 4 times what a SR swap would. Ive been to drift events before but it was 3 years ago in my maroon coupe KA-t setup. I planned on takin my car to Road america a couple times this summer but im puttin a hault on that till my RHD conversion done with roll cage and a new set of coils. I woulda had all my suspension done this past 2 weeks but i decided to move out instead so money is a little tight right now until i get my new job

kyle, whos puttin a RB in?? And why wasnt i notified? lol whoever it is if you need help im your man. I got more RB parts and knowledge comin out of my ass than any one person should

BUT we are gettin totally off topic in her build thread. So lets get back on track

You want to use that 26 trans? Your nuts dude. That thing weighs roughly a billion pounds. Plus its a bitch to replace if you have to.

My asking price is more than reasonable for the z32 trans I have.

its heavy as hell if u dont take off the transfer case and all the bullshit. Once thats stripped off its the same weight as the Rb25 trans according to ppl ive talked to that have done it on nico. I know your z32 trans price is amazing and she will more than likely end up buyin it off ya. I just want to see if i can modify the AWD trans and make it work.

kyle, i thougth u were sayin RYan was swappin in a RB lol the way you worded it

Ben, I am not saying it cannot be done.... I have seen it done actually. I never pulled the tail housing off of my AWD trans to check it out. I sold it to full race actually.

That trans with transfer case weighs about 200 pounds!

hell yeah that thing is heavy as fuck with the transfer case. when i helped a buddy move some of his RB stuff from one shop to another he had a AWD trans there and hes like pick that thing up for me. Could barely move the thing myself lol that transfer case has to weigh at least 100 lbs

tru the only thing i see at the track are SR's haha. wait and a couple LS1's. You going to DD on sunday longrain? Can't weait to see that RB go in tho, if you need some help i'll come down I always wanted to learn how to do the swap.

HA, and how long did that car run? he broke that shit on the figure 8 track his first run if I remember correctly...

I'll be there. not driving though unless someone wants to let me drive a lap or so.

I was never an SR fan either. thats why I built a CA18 and a KA-turbo before I decided to get one. now i'll never go back. I used to talk down on SR's as much as the next KA-T fanboy. but now I know better.

yeah i decided ill let ben try to fuck with it but when it doesnt work (no offense ben lol) ill be buying that off you evan.

as for the WI vs IL.. us WI people will have the faster cars. I dont care if they see the track or not on a regular basis we still have them and i sure as hell am going to daily drive the RB so it'll get full use out of it on top of going to track...

Kori what I/C plumbing do you plan on using? I chopped up an SR kit and it fits pretty well.

I had to do some cutting and have it re welded. IMO don't order any I/C plumbing until the motor is in the car. Your welcome to see mine to see if it will work.

Well i own an Arc welder so the re-welding wouldnt be an issue...

Got any pics of yours, you can PM then if you dont wanna post em up..

Why wait to order it? I was aiming for having everything at once to put on..
