Re: hey its ben (lilskyline240)
i plan on havin my car setup for Road racing / drift. Just some suspension changes needed between race types
ill still toy with ppl on hwy. ALways have and always will. Its funny to watch some kid next to me think hes fast and i downshift to 3 hit boost and my ass end goes sideways. Kinda scares them off

Re: hey its ben (lilskyline240)
the car that i want to build would be a track car for the most part, but still street legal. I can't decide between the rb25 and the vq35. As far as rotation i've heard that the rb is a lot smoother and more efficient. do you like the motor you built? did you start off with a 25 or just build it to the 30?

Re: hey its ben (lilskyline240)
no i went right for the Rb30 conversion. Dont really know why either but i love it. Id recommend an RB swap over a VQ anyday. Not to much info on a VQ swap. But if u like doin your own R&D then go for it. But if u want a ride in my car to help sway your decision let me know

I definitely want to do that, but i'll help you out with your other 240 first i don't beleive in free rides. One of the biggest reasons i'm thinking VQ is the turbo lag. Taking a ride in your car would definitely help make a decission. Thanks for the offer.

Re: hey its ben (lilskyline240)
Do you know anyone that has a rb20? I guess i don't fully understand what the point of having that engine over the sr. Sure the sr is common, but is an extra two cylinders really that much better when the parts for the rb are almost double that of the sr? I understand that to each there own and doing something different has a lot of dedication, but i also have never heard of the exact same setup on an sr. Idk what are your thoughts?
