Personally, if it were ME. and i was gonna do a SR/CA/Rb20.
i would go RB20. the 200-250hp you can get out of them pretty easy is alot of fun in a S13. plus you can't get around the I-6Turbo sound.

Buy a DSM if you want easy 200hp.. Very Happy since they come over that stock... Which is why I'm going bigger

psst. RB20DET comes with 215HP and the talon/eclipse was like 210/205hp.

personally IMO. you have a pretty nasty car the way it sits. and the money you will put into getting a stock RB runnin in a S13 is more then it would take to get your car to run 11's.

210hp yeah. I was just pointing it out that it's easier to get a DSM then do an RB swap if your only looking for 2XXhp..

See the only issue is when you get a DSM in the 11's its going to see the outside of a garage maybe 2months total of the year.. If I had 8 more grand than I already put into the Talon I could get a more reliable faster car, right now if just sits at reliable like idk 230hp.. Where as I can sell it and sell my focus giving me 8 grand to start over and end up fast and reliable, instead of sticking more money into something I won't know is reliable. Plus I've had it for almost two years, time for change.

Yea flick u know bout DSM's your always raggin on em. DSM = down several months or Dont Start Moding... Kori is actually lovin the reliability that my RB has offerec me once i started daily driving it. I can BEAT THE PISS out of it day in and day out with no ill effects. Yes you can build a fast DSM but the reliability factor is still always quesionable.

I just cant wait till i see your motor kori...i think im more excited than you are to do that swap lol

I had a dsm although it was not turbo and front wheel drive. it was ok, but i wanted the 240 cuz its rear wheel drive. if i had wanted an awd i woulda built a mirage to be awd or gotten an older 2.5rs

yeap that's why the 2J w/ bolt ons was the best choice over a big turbo KA-T/SR/Ca/etc.

I broke 10.9 on my brother's GSXR1000 at great lakes. At the time i weighed about 20 lbs less and i'd only had my class M license for 6 months or so. but i'd been around bikes all my life.
